Our Commitment To Data Security

How can I become a volunteer for the Rebuild Program?
Sorry, not anyone can become a volunteer for the Rebuild program because of our clients’ privacy issues, only referred community advisors, social workers, and approved assistants are allowed. We do this to ensure safety as sensitive info and data go through during the process.
How can I “get” support from Rebuild Program?
There are different local community providers in South Florida, such as social workers, community unions, agencies, and churches, who can refer a possible client as part of the Rebuild program.
Is Deliverance Charities a church or a homeless shelter or a rehab center?
Sorry, we are neither. We are a support group to our local community of South Florida. In simple terms, We help unfortunate people with a second chance at life to become self-sufficient and we do random acts of kindness to uplift the community morale.

If I donate money, how I know your helping the community?
All donors received an email for their thankful donation, than at within the 7 days, each donor will receive an thankful mail explaining how we use their donation to help the community. If it’s a large donation, that donor gets direct access to our meetings and updated events of our mission.

Gift Acceptance Policy
Deliverance Charities Inc solicits and accepts gifts for purposes that will help the organization further and fulfill its mission. Deliverance Charities Inc urges all prospective donors to seek the assistance of personal legal and financial advisors in matters relating to their gifts, including the resulting tax and estate planning consequences. The following policies and guidelines govern acceptance of gifts made to Deliverance Charities Inc for the benefit of any of its operations, programs or services.
Use of Legal Counsel—Deliverance Charities Inc will seek the advice of legal counsel in matters relating to acceptance of gifts when appropriate. Review by counsel is recommended for:
A. Gifts of securities that are subject to restrictions or buy-sell agreements.
B. Documents naming Deliverance Charities Inc as trustee or requiring Deliverance Charities Inc to act in any fiduciary capacity.
C. Gifts requiring Deliverance Charities Inc to assume financial or other obligations.
D. Transactions with potential conflicts of interest.
E. Gifts of property which may be subject to environmental or other regulatory restrictions.
Restrictions on Gifts—Deliverance Charities Inc will not accept gifts that (a) would result in Deliverance Charities Inc violating its corporate charter, (b) would result in Deliverance Charities Inc losing its status as an IRC 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, (c) are too difficult or too expensive to administer in relation to their value, (d) would result in any unacceptable consequences for Deliverance Charities Inc, or (e) are for purposes outside Deliverance Charities Inc’s mission. Decisions on the restrictive nature of a gift, and its acceptance or refusal, shall be made by the Finance Committee, in consultation with the Executive Director.
Gifts Generally Accepted Without Review—
Cash. Cash gifts are acceptable in any form, including by check, money order, credit card, wire transfer, or on-line.
Marketable Securities. Marketable securities may be transferred electronically to an account maintained at the Association’s brokerage firm or delivered physically with the transferor’s endorsement attached. All marketable securities will be sold promptly upon receipt unless otherwise directed by Deliverance Charities Inc’s Investment Committee. In some cases, marketable securities may be restricted, for example, by applicable securities laws or the terms of the proposed gift; in such instances, the decision whether to accept the restricted securities shall be made by the Finance Committee.
Gifts Accepted Subject to Prior Review—Certain forms of gifts or donated properties may be subject to review prior to acceptance. Examples of gifts subject to prior review include, but are not limited to:
Charitable Remainder Trusts. Deliverance Charities Inc will accept designation as a remainder beneficiary of charitable remainder trusts.
Charitable Lead Trusts. Deliverance Charities Inc will accept designation as an income beneficiary of charitable lead trusts.
Bequests and Beneficiary Designations under Revocable Trusts, Commercial Annuities and Retirement Plans. Donors are encouraged to make bequests to Deliverance Charities Inc under their wills, and to name Deliverance Charities Inc as the beneficiary under trusts, commercial annuities and retirement plans.
Tangible Personal Property. The Finance Committee shall review and determine whether to accept any gifts of tangible personal property, including works of art, in light of the following considerations: does the property further the organization’s mission? Is the property marketable? Are there any unacceptable restrictions imposed on the property? Are there any carrying costs for the property for which the organization may be responsible? Is the title/provenance of the property clear?
Life Insurance. Deliverance Charities Inc will accept gifts of life insurance where Deliverance Charities Inc is named as both beneficiary and irrevocable owner of the insurance policy. The donor must agree to pay, before due, any future premium payments owing on the policy.
Real Estate. All gifts of real estate are subject to review by the Finance Committee. Prior to acceptance of any gift of real estate other than a personal residence, Deliverance Charities Inc shall require an initial environmental review by a qualified environmental firm. In the event that the review reveals a potential problem, the organization may retain a qualified environmental firm to conduct an environmental audit. Criteria for acceptance of gifts of real estate include: Is the property useful for the organization’s purposes? Is the property readily marketable? Are there covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations, easements, encumbrances or other limitations associated with the property? Are there carrying costs (including insurance, property taxes, mortgages, notes, or the like) or maintenance expenses associated with the property? Does the environmental review or audit reflect that the property is damaged or otherwise requires remediation?
Program Expense Policy
Any donations allocated for the Rebuild Program, are for said program expenses as listed below.
Homelessness Rescue Expenses - To only help the client and children in a homeless situation, for a temporarily stay at hotel, apartment, or housing rental unit, until they can be transferred to a more permanent place of residence.
Housing Expenses - Funds maybe use towards to pay partial of rent or mortgage, only if the client is in a situation where they cannot pay for the entire rent or mortgage, house repairs (if there are children in poor living conditions).
Food Supply Expenses - Funds maybe use towards supplying the client and children with food and groceries, such as bake goods, dairy products, baby food and water from grocery stores and food banks.
Transportation Expenses - Funds maybe use towards assisting the client get to work, school, Rebuild Program related visits and take care of any needs for their children, like hospitals and clinic visits, grocery shopping for essentials, towards vehicle fuel and/or public transit fare.
Childcare Services Expenses - Funds maybe use towards the cost of the child daycare centers, nannies or babysitters, for the client’s children, while client may need to attend classes in school, an interview to a new job posting or while the client is attending work.
Educational Expenses - Funds maybe use towards the cost of any career certification licensing and state credential examinations and/or professional examinations costs. Also funds maybe use towards the client and their children school supplies and books.
Healthcare Expenses - Funds maybe use towards the cost of clinical visitations, medical copays, prescription drug medicine, treatments, glass frames, examinations, checkups for the client and their children. Children may be enrolled in Medicaid, there may be extra fees to cover.
Personal Documentation - Funds maybe use towards the cost of the client’s documentation, such as state identification, passport, birth certificate, school transcripts, vaccination records and medical records.
Act of Kindness Program - expenses are only approved by the Board of Directors and Executive Team. With the focus of the Recipient(s) and support of the any said volunteers on site of the location of said Act.
Tales from the Unfortunate Book Series Program - Funds maybe use towards the cost of story development, planning, writers & editors, illustrations and final drafting of materials.
Recipient(s), Clients and/or other related family members are NOT to be given cash or electronic transfers of any kind, directly and/or indirectly.

Whistle-Blower Policy
If any employee reasonably believes that some policy, practice, or activity of Deliverance Charities Inc. is in violation of law, a written complaint must be filed by that employee with the any Executive or Director of the Board.
It is the intent of Deliverance Charities Inc. to adhere to all laws and regulations that apply to the organization and the underlying purpose of this policy is to support the organization’s goal of legal compliance. The support of all employees is necessary to achieving compliance with various laws and regulations. An employee is protected from retaliation only if the employee brings the alleged unlawful activity, policy, or practice to the attention of Deliverance Charities Inc. and provides the Deliverance Charities Inc. with a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the alleged unlawful activity. The protection described below is only available to employees that comply with this requirement.
Deliverance Charities Inc. will not retaliate against an employee who in good faith, has made a protest or raised a complaint against some practice of Deliverance Charities Inc., or of another individual or entity with whom Deliverance Charities Inc. has a business relationship, on the basis of a reasonable belief that the practice is in violation of law, or a clear mandate of public policy.
Deliverance Charities Inc. will not retaliate against employees who disclose or threaten to disclose to a supervisor or a public body, any activity, policy, or practice of Deliverance Charities Inc. that the employee reasonably believes is in violation of a law, or a rule, or regulation mandated pursuant to law or is in violation of a clear mandate of public policy concerning the health, safety, welfare, or protection of the environment.
